About Metta Preschool

Metta Preschool provides early intervention and preschool education for young children with developmental needs. We provide a supportive learning environment that helps children develop essential skills and reach their potential through collaboration with families and a multi-disciplinary team.

Job Summary

Join our Early Intervention team to support children with developmental and special needs through meaningful learning experiences. You will plan and conduct lessons, develop Individualised Education Plans (IEPs), monitor children’s progress, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support each child’s development and potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct lessons and activities based on the Early Childhood Holistic Outcomes (ECHO) framework
    .

  • Collaborate with the trans-disciplinary team to develop, implement and monitor Individualised Education Plans (IEPs).

  • Develop and prepare appropriate teaching and learning resources.

  • Provide a safe, healthy and conducive learning environment for children.

  • Monitor children's progress and maintain attendance, assessment and intervention records.

  • Organise and support activities, outings and programmes for children.

  • Maintain accurate student records and documentation.

  • Comply with relevant ISO, NCSS and MSF requirements
    .

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education
    , Early Intervention, Special Education or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in an Early Intervention setting is preferred.
  • Experience or training in applying the ECHO framework would be an advantage.
  • Strong interest in supporting and working with children with special needs
    .
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
    .
  • Responsible, organised and attentive to detail.
  • Good command of English.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8.00am–5.00pm or 8.30am–5.30pm (subject to operational requirements).
