Sunseeker Resort Florida Gulf Coast, by Curio is a stunning waterfront destination located in Southwest Florida, offering the perfect blend of luxury and leisure. With 785 guest rooms and more than 60,000 square feet of event and meeting space, the resort is designed to accommodate both upscale leisure getaways and dynamic business gatherings. Guests can indulge in an impressive collection of 18 food and beverage outlets, from fine dining to casual coastal fare, showcasing flavors from around the world.

The resort also features a luxurious pool scene, including the largest rooftop pool in Florida, providing sweeping views of Charlotte Harbor and an elevated, resort-style experience. Sunseeker is where elevated hospitality meets sun-soaked relaxation.

The Hair Stylist is responsible for providing professional hair services including precision cuts, color, styling, updos, and wedding or special occasion looks. The ideal candidate demonstrates advanced technical skills, akeen eye for detail, and the ability to deliver customized services that reflect each guest’s personality and preferences. Additional responsibilities include consulting with clients, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, recommending appropriate products, and staying up to date with the latest trends in hair design and care.

All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices and procedures.

• Provide a full range of hair services including cuts, color, highlights, blowouts, styling, and updos.
• Consult with guests to understand their individual preferences, style goals, and special event needs.
• Perform wedding and special occasion hairstyling, ensuring flawless results under time-sensitive conditions.
• Recommend hair care treatments and retail products tailored to each guest’s needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation and adhere to all state and resort hygiene and safety standards.
• Ensure proper disinfection and sterilization of all tools, equipment, and linens after each guest.
• Stay current on industry trends, new products, and evolving techniques in color, cutting, and styling.
• Collaborate with spa and bridal teams to support group events, weddings, and photo sessions as needed.
• Manage time efficiently to accommodate multiple appointments and deliver timely, high-quality service.
• Uphold the resort’s standards of professionalism, guest service, and appearance at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the department.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resort performs criminal background checks on all candidates. Candidates will need to be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. • Minimum age of 21 years.
• Completion of 260 hours in accredited Cosmetology school.
• Valid Florida Cosmetology License.
• Minimum 2 years of professional hairstyling experience in a luxury salon, resort, or spa environment.
• Strong technical proficiency in cutting, coloring, styling, and updo design.

• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines.
• Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment.
• Strong leadership abilities, sound judgment, superior problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detail.
• Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
