Overview

As a Technician, you’ll be a vital part of the medical team, providing comprehensive patient care, from administering treatments and monitoring anesthesia to performing diagnostic lab work. You’ll mentor team members, coordinate with veterinarians, and serve as a key point of contact for pet owners, ensuring high standards of care and a positive culture.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including medication administration, anesthesia support, and lab work.
  • Mentor and support the medical team, ensuring efficient workflow and professional development.
  • Serve as a primary contact for pet owners, educating them on treatments and addressing inquiries.
  • Participate in training, feedback, and maintaining a high‑standard hospital environment.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an AVMA‑accredited Veterinary Technician program.
  • Current state veterinary technician license (CVT) in good standing.
  • Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
  • Calm, efficient approach, especially in fast‑paced situations.
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
  • One year of veterinary industry experience preferred.
