Location: 100 Madrid Blvd, Punta Gorda, FL 33950

Hourly Pay Rate: $15.00/hr

Shift Availability: 15–30 hours per week; weekend availability strongly preferred.

As a Retail Sales Associate at Curaleaf, you’ll be the face of our brand, guiding customers through our cannabis products and delivering top‑tier service in a fast‑paced retail environment.

• Customer Experience & Teamwork
  • Greet and assist guests warmly to ensure an exceptional experience.
  • Build genuine connections and offer personalized product advice.
  • Resolve concerns professionally to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Encourage loyalty through rewards program sign‑ups.
  • Work closely with team to maintain a respectful, inclusive atmosphere.
• Operations & Store Standards
  • Help open/close the store, handle cash, and follow procedures.
  • Check IDs, update profiles, and process transactions accurately.
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Support inventory tasks, restocking, and online order fulfillment.
• Sales & Performance
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily sales goals by upselling.
  • Highlight deals and complementary items at checkout.
  • Stay informed on promotions and product updates.
  • Adapt quickly to a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
  • Take on extra duties as needed to support team success.

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months experience in a customer‑facing or sales role.
• Minimum 6 months experience using POS systems and handling cash.
• Ability to thrive independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and priority‑shifting abilities.
• Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new tools.
• Solid time‑management and organizational skills.
• Effective de‑escalation techniques and calm, solution‑oriented approach.
• Basic math and computer proficiency.
• Positive, proactive mindset in customer issue resolution.
• Strong conflict resolution and composure under pressure.
• Initiative and team‑first attitude.
• A natural ability to build rapport and maintain lasting relationships.

• Background in sales with KPI tracking and quota achievement.
• Familiarity with e‑commerce systems and order fulfillment.
• Previous experience in a regulated retail setting.

Stand for extended periods; walk, talk, and hear; stoop, kneel, crouch; lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs). Requires clear vision at 20 inches or less.
