Outside Sales Representative – Job Description

A 100% commission outside sales representative is a field-based salesperson who relies entirely on commissions earned from sales for their income, without a base salary, and travels to meet clients face-to-face. Responsibilities include identifying and contacting potential customers, conducting product demonstrations, building customer relationships, analyzing market trends, and managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
. Success in this role depends on strong sales skills, self-motivation, excellent communication, and the discipline to work independently to achieve sales targets and benefit from unlimited earning potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Identify and establish contact with potential clients, present products or services, and conduct in-person product demonstrations.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Guide the entire sales cycle, from initial lead generation and qualification to developing proposals and closing deals.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers by acting as a trusted advisor and providing ongoing support.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, analyze sales data, and recommend strategies to identify new opportunities and meet sales goals.
  • Territory Management: Manage a defined sales territory, which may include working with established customer bases and new markets.
  • Reporting: Generate and submit sales reports to management, providing updates on performance and market activity.

Role Description

This is a performance based 100% commission, with uncapped earnings potential opportunity for a Sales Associate located in Punta Gorda, FL. The Sales Associate will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their construction needs and providing detailed product and service information. Daily tasks include meeting sales targets, maintaining customer relationships, prospecting, following up on leads, preparing quotes, and closing the sales on the job.

Qualifications
  • Key customer engagement, sales cycle management, relationship building, market analysis, territory management and reporting skills
  • Experienced window and door sales in SW Florida market
  • Ability to understand and explain detailed construction and products and services
  • Proficiency in preparing sales quotes and documentation
  • Ability to meet sales targets and work independently as well as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with sales software
  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in a related field is a plus
