Overview
Senior Staff Accountant – Technical Staffing Firm
Oakridge Staffing is a growing technology staffing firm serving financial services, hedge funds, and technology clients nationwide. We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, consultant payroll and invoicing, and multi-state compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger, and month‑end close
- Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and billing analyses
- Oversee consultant timesheets, invoicing, and payroll via ATS and ADP
- Ensure accurate billing and payroll data in TrackerRMS and Quick Books
- Maintain compliance with multi‑state payroll, unemployment, and workers’ comp
- Support consultant onboarding/offboarding, tax, and insurance documentation
- Coordinate with HR on benefits, terminations, and employment verifications
- Improve and automate workflows across ATS, , and accounting systems
- 5+ years of accounting experience; staffing or professional services preferred
- Strong working knowledge of ADP

, , and Excel - Solid understanding of multi‑state payroll and tax compliance
