Clinical Education Manager (operational) and Course Chair (academic oversight).
Effective Date:
January 16, 2026. This is a part-time clinical instructor role with an hourly pay range of $70.00/hr - $74.00/hr number of direct reports:
0. Number of people supported: students vary per semester.
- Supervise nursing students in the clinical environment and provide timely formative and summative feedback.
- Evaluate clinical performance of students and grade clinical assignments.
- Create and maintain a learner-centered environment based on educational theory and evidence-based teaching practices.
- Oversee clinical rotation for nursing students.
- Manage post-conference meetings.
- Develop engaging lesson plans and ensure relevant learning resources are available.
- Provide mid-term progress updates as defined in the syllabus; notify the course chair of at-risk students as soon as identified and at least weekly thereafter.
- Complete final evaluation of student performance and submit grades on time (midterm and final).
- Complete the required orientation for adjunct faculty.
- Submit licensing and medical credential documentation to the American Data Bank/Complio Portal, including: RN license, malpractice insurance, physical examination, immunizations (as specified), vaccines (flu, COVID-19 and boosters), vaccination history (Hepatitis B, Varicella, MMR), Tdap, Varicella IGG, MMR IGG, Hepatitis B surface antibodies/antigens, Hepatitis C sABIGG, BLS, meningitis documentation.
- Must be able to comply with the institution's credentialing requirements and maintain current credentials.
- Master of Science in Nursing required.
- Current RN license in NY and/or CT.
- Two years of recent clinical experience.
- RN license and CPR certification required.
At least two years related experience required.
Physical RequirementsCurrent HR/compensation credentials or certification preferred. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
Salary and HoursThe annual salary is based on Manhattanville’s Collective Bargaining Agreement. Pay range is $70 to $74 per hour.
Hours:
Part-time, 8 hour shift per week.
