Treasury Assistant​/Jr Analyst; Purchase, NY

We are recruiting for a Treasury Assistant / Jr Analyst in Purchase, NY (Hybrid schedule – 3 days in-office | 2 days remote). This is a 6 month+ contract role that is great for a recent grad who is looking to gain corporate experience. The Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting the execution of daily cash functions: including producing cash position worksheet, oversight of the Treasury Management System, transaction oversight, bank statement generation and reviewing exceptions to ensure the highest quality data.

Standard business hours (40 hours per week) Mon – Fri. Hourly rate: $25.00 - $28.00 Hourly Rate

Responsibilities:

• Bank Portal access management.
• Download monthly/quarterly bank statements from bank portals.
• Compose wire entries into Treasury Management System and/or appropriate bank portals and send for approval.
• Reconcile of internally managed custody investment accounts.
• Open and on-board investment custody accounts.
• Assist with collateral management.
• Prepare monthly borrowing base certificate.
• Manage monthly transfers of cash between Operations and Long-Term Portfolio.
• Monitor intraday payment reports to ensure proper account liquidity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related business field.
• Experience in corporate finance, treasury, or banking operations.
• Prior experience working with Kyriba Treasury Management System and/or SAP a plus.
• Strong Excel with command of functions (e.g., Pivot Table Creation, V-lookup, formulas).
• Ability to multi-task and manage numerous simultaneous priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
