**** Cedar Park Med is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality primary and urgent care services in a college health center setting. The NP will work with a diverse student population, delivering patient-centered care that promotes health, wellness, and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP who enjoys working independently in a dynamic campus-based environment.

Position Overview:
As an NP, you will provide direct clinical services including evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and crisis intervention. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse population in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive health assessments and physical exams

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, including prescribing appropriate medications and treatments

• Provide urgent care for minor injuries and illnesses

• Provide crisis support and clinical leadership when needed

• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with policies and standards

Requirements:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of employment

• Board Certification in Psychiatry or Family Medicine preferred

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a mental health or behavioral health setting

• DEA registration and prescriptive authority

• Strong communication, documentation, and decision-making skills
