As a Security Officer at a Distribution Warehouse located in Purchase, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, document activity using technology, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage production or distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and warehouse areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor and delivery records in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
Assist with maintaining orderly access for employees, vendors, and transport drivers while documenting security‑related incidents and communicating observations to site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
