React Native Software Engineer

Overview

The Software Engineering Associate Manager will play a pivotal role in software development activities and long-term initiative planning and collaboration across the Strategy & Transformation (S&T) organization. Software Engineering is the cornerstone of scalable digital transformation across Pepsi Co’s value chain. This candidate will support the end-to-end software development experience, and deliver high quality software as part of the Dev Ops process.

• Provide technical oversight and hands-on development to deliver high-quality software solutions that generate value through cost savings or incremental value.
• Work closely with the user experience, product, IT, and process engineering teams to develop new products and prioritize deliverables across S&T core priorities.
• Hands-on development for Mobile Applications using React Native.
• Support software development strategy by creating roadmaps and timing of implementation based on business requirements and strategy.
• Expand DPA capabilities through a customer-obsessed, services-driven digital solutions platform leveraging data and AI to deliver automated and personalized experiences.
• Help identify and resolve delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes tied to engineering initiatives for stakeholders.
• Interact with key business partners to recommend solutions that best meet strategic needs.
• Explore and adopt tools such as AI copilots and agents to streamline development and boost productivity.

• The expected compensation range for this position is between $89,000 - $149,000.
• Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
• Bonus based on performance with target payout of 10% of annual salary paid annually.

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years in software engineering, with experience building large-scale mobile applications.
• 2+ years hands-on with React Native (Type Script/JavaScript).
• Strong knowledge of iOS/Android app development, APIs, and app store workflows.
• Experience leading projects or mentoring teams.
• Bonus:
  Experience with Salesforce, Azure, CI/CD pipelines, or consumer apps at scale.
