• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals, trusts and partnerships
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support and audit representation where eligible
• Mentor and support teammates and contribute to a team culture of excellence

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax, including complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews and using virtual collaboration tools
• Experience with tax planning, audit support and client service in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication skills – in person, by phone and in writing
• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate across multiple channels
