Job SummaryThe Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in company systems. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information while meeting productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Enter, update, and verify data in internal systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
- Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical records.
- Identify errors and report inconsistencies.
- Generate basic reports as requested.
- Follow data integrity, security, and confidentiality policies.
- Meet productivity and quality targets.
- Communicate with team members regarding data issues.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
- Experience in data entry or administrative support (preferred).
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Basic knowledge of databases and data management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems.
- Familiarity with data quality control procedures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Office-based within a manufacturing setting.
- May require extended periods of sitting and computer use.
