In this role, you will assist with household chores and tasks, drive to appointments, provide assistance with personal hygiene, and help develop routines that promote independence and self-sufficiency. You will also teach essential life skills, such as grocery shopping and budgeting, empowering individuals to navigate everyday life.

To thrive in this role as a Direct Support Professional, a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities is a key attribute. The following skills and qualifications are required:

• Excellent Communication
• Problem-Solving and flexibility
• A commitment to the health and wellbeing of others
• A high school education (or GED)
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license, insurance and registration
• Must be at least 18 years or older with a personal cell phone
