Job Title: Warehouse Associate (WAE)
Department: Logistics
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor

Primary Function: To participate in the performance of all activities associated with post-compounding operations, packaging, and shipping of finished goods, receiving, and inventory management as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Ensures all equipment is thoroughly cleaned before every use.
- Prepares all documentation pertaining to packaging including labels.
- Adjusts inventory electronically by consuming raw materials once finished goods runs are complete.
- Provides a representative sample of finished goods being shipped to the lab for final Q.C.
- Ensures finished goods are packaged in approved containers and that provided packaging specifications are followed.
- Prepares all documentation pertaining to incoming shipments (receiving report, receiving log (FM-7.5.3-01), and labeling).
- Prepares all documentation pertaining to outgoing shipments (invoicing, bill of lading, shipping log (FM-7.5.5-01), overseas documents, and schedule pickups).
- Prints material requirements from manufacturing software for scheduled orders. Pulls and stages materials in the designated areas for each 24-hour production period.
- Puts away unused materials returned from production.
- Ensures inventory accuracy by performing physical inventories on a routine basis.
- Maintains the inventory for all shipping and packaging supplies.
- Maintains a clean work area by consistently removing debris from the floor and all surface areas.
- Maintains product identification and lot traceability at all times.
- Operates fork truck complying with OSHA regulations.
- Performs daily safety inspection of fork trucks and maintains inspection log.
- Complies with all safety regulations and applies good judgment in safely performing all tasks.
- Complies with all related company ISO requirements.
- Communicates with the warehouse supervisor all appropriate concerns related to working conditions, safety, injuries, and interpersonal conflicts.
- Other duties may be requested and/or assigned by company management.
- Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules, operational instructions, procedure manuals, and MSDS sheets.
- Ability to write routine reports.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D. or 1-3 years related experience or training or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Mathematical Skills
:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules, operational instructions, procedure manuals, and MSDS sheets.
- Ability to write routine reports.
Computer Skills
:
Must be proficient in using system programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.

Physical Requirements- Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb and balance, stoop, kneel, talk, and hear.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Specific vision ability includes close vision and color vision.
- Regular exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
- Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration.
- Normal exposure to moderate noise levels.
