ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Nursing Job in Putnam, Connecticut

  Acute care hospital 6-bed Intensive Care Unit
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/29/2025 End: 3/2/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm 7:00am), every other weekend required

  Cerner Corporation – Med Series4

• Active RN license in Connecticut or ability to obtain temporary Connecticut RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Current NVCIT (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training) certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a 6-bed ICU setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, recognizing and responding to abnormal patterns
• Demonstrate expertise in hemodynamic monitoring, equipment troubleshooting, and accurate documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain timely and precise documentation using Cerner Med Series4
• Participate in ongoing professional development and adhere to hospital and nursing policies
