Pay Rate: $17.50–$19.50/hr (based on education and experience).
Schedule:
Monday–Friday Split Shift availability required, actual schedule may vary. Estimated times below:
- Before School Shift: 6:00 am–9:30 am (Mon‑6:30 am–10:30 am)
- After School Shift: 3:45 pm–6:00 pm
- Daily Program Meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and promote team accountability.
- Organize and Facilitate Daily
Activities:
prepare activities and curriculum that align with the program’s objectives; lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are educational and enjoyable. - Leading by Example: maintain a safe and nurturing environment and model positive guidance and effective classroom management.
- Prioritise Safety and Joy: monitor the environment, address hazards, and follow safety protocols—including documenting attendance, incidents, and observations.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
- Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age (preferred).
- Ability to lift 25 lb.
- A drive to inspire a love of learning and commitment to healthy living.
- Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
- Meet state‑specific requirements.
- First Aid and CPR in person.
- Cleared tuberculosis test.
- Food Handlers Card.
- Proof of MMR.
- 18+ years of age.
- Proof of high school diploma/GED.
- Background check with fingerprinting.
