Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with acute care and Level III trauma experience for a fast-paced imaging department.

• Work in an imaging department with 3 CT suites at a Level III Trauma Center
• Day shift, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with 2-3 standby call shifts per month
• Patient population includes general, diagnostic, interventional, ER, and critical cases
• More than 100 patients seen in 24 hours
• Uses Epic EMR, Med Rad injectors, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis dispensing, Change Healthcare PACS, Siemens Dual Source CT 128 Flash, Definition 64, and Definition Edge 128
• No floating required outside the home department
• Scheduling may include weekend rotation, every other holiday, and repeating shift cycles
• Support provided by a lead CT tech, respiratory therapy, hospitalist, and radiologist teams; radiologists are onsite during the day and offsite at night
• CT transporters available except from 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM
• Team consists of up to 5 CT techs during business hours and 3 after 5:00 PM
• Orientation includes NEO and at least one week in the department
• COVID vaccine required
• On-call coverage required for some positions, with call shifts typically 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Scrubs may be any color with a professional appearance and no logos or designs
• First-time travelers will be considered with required experience
• Free parking available
• Manager approval required for RTO

• BLS and ARRT (CT & R) required
• WA state license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year experience in a large Level 3 or higher acute care facility required
• Experience with a wide variety of acute cases is required
• Cardiac CT experience is preferred
• Critical access-only experience is not accepted
