Overview

Senior Insurance Broker at Health Insurance NW. Shape the future of client service and growth in a trusted, relationship-first agency.

About the Role

As a Senior Insurance Broker, you’ll guide clients through complex insurance decisions—offering expert insight, customized policy recommendations, and high-touch service. This role suits an experienced broker who values collaboration, can operate in ambiguity, and contributes to a team-focused agency with a long-term vision.

You’ll consult directly with clients, manage a diverse portfolio, and help ensure they have the right coverage at the right time. From navigating individual, Medicare, or group plans to building new client relationships, your work will directly impact client satisfaction and agency growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Advise clients on coverage options tailored to their needs, offering clear guidance and trusted expertise
  • Generate new business independently and in collaboration with the team
  • Prepare quotes, process applications, and clearly explain plan details to clients
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and uphold high service standards
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and carrier partners
  • Stay current with product offerings, industry trends, and compliance updates
  • Track client policies, manage updates and renewals, and ensure accurate documentation
  • Work with internal support staff to maintain organized, up-to-date client records
What Sets You Apart
  • Licensed in health, life, or related insurance lines
  • 5+ years of experience in insurance brokerage or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; clear and confident with clients
  • Tech-savvy and process-oriented—able to manage multiple systems and tasks
  • Skilled at navigating complex client needs with empathy and professionalism
  • Collaborative team member who values internal communication and shared goals
  • Motivated by both long-term relationships and business growth
  • Familiar with compliance standards and industry regulations
Team & Culture

You’ll work closely with support staff to streamline administrative tasks and ensure timely, accurate policy processing. You’ll also coordinate with carriers to stay current on coverage details and resolve client needs with efficiency and care. As the agency evolves, you’ll play a vital role in shaping its future while being supported by a team that values integrity, autonomy, and adaptability.

Why This Role Matters

This is more than a sales role—it’s a chance to make a lasting impact on clients’ lives while contributing to an agency built on trust and long-term service. With leadership transitions underway, the right candidate will have opportunities for growth, influence, and meaningful connections with both clients and colleagues.
