Summary DescriptionAssembles precut steel garage door sections using hand and power tools. May be required to perform functions of other jobs within the department.
Essential Duties- Obtain work orders and production schedule and assemble materials accordingly
- Install rubberized seal onto edge of sections
- Install end cap onto sections
- Stack sections including running sections through banding machine
- Perform quality assurance inspection
Job Skills And Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- No Previous experience required; some transferrable experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED.

- Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
- Able to lift 50-75lbs safely
- Able to stand for extended periods of time (10-12-hour days)
- Good hand-eye coordination
This position is in our manufacturing plant. It will involve standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day and requires repetitive motion of arms, shoulders, wrists and hands. The plant is not climate controlled and will require the employee to dress appropriately. Noise levels can become high so NWD provides and requires hearing protection in the department.
