Technician, Production

Job Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose, and perform major and minor repair work on hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and other related hydraulic equipment and assemblies.
  • Operate a variety of hand, electric, and air‑driven tools as well as a variety of diagnostic instruments.
  • Test, troubleshoot, service and repair mechanical equipment.
  • Inspect, adjust, and replace necessary parts in the performance of repair and maintenance.
  • Ability to write‑up failure reports and bill of materials (BOMs).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Thorough knowledge of mechanics; considerable knowledge of hydraulics, pumps, and valves.
  • Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to a shop working environment.
  • Working knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, and tools used in modern equipment maintenance.
  • Skill in operation of necessary tools and equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical problems with hydraulic components and equipment.
  • Carry out assigned projects to their completion.
  • Communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.
  • Lift 30 pounds.
Shift
  • Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay
  • $26.00 - $32.00 DOE
