Job SummaryJoin Carlisle Companies Incorporated as a Production Operator I, where you’ll play a hands‑on role in producing high‑quality building materials in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll operate production machinery, support experienced operators, and ensure products meet Carlisle’s safety and quality standards. This is a full‑time, 40‑hour‑per‑week position with occasional overtime and no travel required

- Operate machinery within your assigned department to complete production work orders safely and efficiently
- Review work orders and ensure proper materials are available to meet production needs
- Monitor machine operations to maintain standard work and optimal performance
- Perform safety‑critical tasks including lockout/tagout, daily equipment inspections, and hazard‑based functions
- Stack, sort, bundle, and package materials according to departmental standards
- Support Operators II and III with packaging and end‑of‑line operations as needed
- Record production and quality data to support continuous improvement efforts
- Participate in housekeeping, 5S activities, and SQDC initiatives
- Assist with quality checks to verify production parameters are met
- Meet production goals while strictly adhering to all safety requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Strong work ethic with a high level of motivation and reliability

- Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and standard work
- Effective communication, organization, and time‑management skills
- Basic computer, math, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to use measuring tools such as gauges, tape measures, and rulers

- Willingness and ability to learn new equipment and processes
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing or production experience
- Fast‑paced manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, mechanical parts, pinch points, and varying temperatures
- Elevated noise levels requiring hearing protection
- Heavy, stationary machinery on the production floor
- Shifts range from 8–10 hours, depending on schedule and business needs
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required
- Production machinery and hand tools
- Measuring devices, radios, and calculators
- Shop floor systems and ERP software
- Eye and hearing protection (required at all times on the production floor)
- Safety‑toe footwear (steel or composite)
- High‑visibility vests
- Additional PPE as required by department or management
- Lifting or carrying 1–10 lbs (0–30%)
- Lifting or carrying 11–20 lbs (31–60%)
- Lifting or carrying 21–40 lbs (61–100%)
- 1–40 lbs pushing or pulling
- Bending or stooping
- Reaching above shoulder level
- Operating machinery or power tools

Per the state’s Wage Transparency Act, the range for this position is $26.33‑$27.33. Actual salary could be greater based on education, experience, and other qualifying skill sets.
