Job Summary

Join Carlisle Companies Incorporated as an Operator I, where you’ll play a hands‑on role in producing high-quality building materials in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll operate production machinery, support experienced operators, and ensure products meet Carlisle’s safety and quality standards. This is a full‑time, 40‑hour‑per‑week position with occasional overtime and no travel required

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery within your assigned department to complete production work orders safely and efficiently
• Review work orders and ensure proper materials are available to meet production needs
• Monitor machine operations to maintain standard work and optimal performance
• Perform safety‑critical tasks including lockout/tagout, daily equipment inspections, and hazard‑based functions
• Stack, sort, bundle, and package materials according to departmental standards
• Support Operators II and III with packaging and end‑of‑line operations as needed
• Record production and quality data to support continuous improvement efforts
• Participate in housekeeping, 5S activities, and SQDC initiatives
• Assist with quality checks to verify production parameters are met
• Meet production goals while strictly adhering to all safety requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience Required

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Previous manufacturing or production experience

Working Conditions

• Fast‑paced manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, mechanical parts, pinch points, and varying temperatures
• Elevated noise levels requiring hearing protection
• Heavy, stationary machinery on the production floor
• Shifts range from 8–10 hours, depending on schedule and business needs
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required
