• Performs independent, comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging, establishes priorities for patient care, evaluates patients’ progress, provides patient education, acts as relief nurse, and manages tele‑triage, documentation, and medication administration while responding to emergency situations.
• Assists clinic with patient and staff education, consults for patient education, develops nursing plans, maintains staff competency, participates in quality improvement activities, and ensures compliance with hospital and Joint Commission standards.
• Coordinates patient referrals to support services, assists patients in compliance with medical treatment plans, and facilitates communication among internal and external community resources including the TRICARE network.
