Travel Registered Nurse - Start Date:
November 17, 2025 - End Date:
February 28, 2026 - Contract Duration: 15 weeks
- Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm-7:30am)
- Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
- Weekend Rotation:
Every other weekend - COVID-19 Vaccine:
Required - Estimated weekly pay: $1,990 – $2,130
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Washington nursing jobs preferred)
- Minimum 1.5 years of nursing experience; at least 1 year in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Clinical skills: telemetry, trach care, CIWA, BiPAP, central line management, tube/drain management, cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Traveler Telemetry Competency (must be completed and passed prior to start)
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- First-time travel nurses welcome!
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to PCU patients with conditions including respiratory failure, sepsis, GI bleeding, alcohol withdrawal, post-surgical complications, oncology, diabetic/renal complications, CHF, COPD, pneumonia, and comfort care needs
- Monitor patients using continuous telemetry
- Administer and manage medications:
Cardizem, heparin, insulin (non-DKA), nitroglycerin, Lasix, Dilaudid, and more - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team: charge/resource nurses, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, OT/PT/ST, phlebotomy, IV/VAT teams
- Float to ICU (PCU-level patients), CCU, Observation, ED Holding, and overflow units as needed
- Participate in hospital and unit orientation, including safe patient handling and glucose management training
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC and hospital systems
