Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (12-Hour Mids/Nights)

Puyallup, WA | Acute Care – Level III Trauma Center

Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

• Provide emergency nursing care across a broad patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, including trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, DKA, respiratory emergencies, and behavioral health presentations
• Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV access, medication administration, and management of drips in a high-acuity ED environment averaging approximately 200 patients per day
• Administer procedural sedation and blood products; TNK administration experience is a plus
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:4–5, with the ability to flex based on acuity and staffing needs
• Document accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR (recent experience required); operate Alaris pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including ER techs, charge nurses, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social work, and security — all available 24/7

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Washington
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI/MOAB
• Recent Epic EMR experience required
• Traveler Telemetry Competency must be completed and passed prior to start
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV skills, and general ED medication and drip management

• Experience with TNK administration
• Background in high-volume, high-acuity emergency settings including trauma and STEMI care
• Familiarity with Alaris infusion pumps and Pyxis dispensing systems
