Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Puyallup, Washington, 98372!

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery / 12-Hour Nights

Puyallup, WA | Acute Care

Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift (19:00–07:00) | Rotating Weekends (Every Other)

• Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients including active labor management, antepartum care, and post-labor stabilization in a Level II Perinatal Center (32 weeks and above)
• Perform cervical exams, fetal monitoring, amnioinfusion, epidural assistance, IV placement, and Pitocin administration
• Administer medications including magnesium and substance abuse management medications; monitor and manage hypertensive patients
• Deliver couplet care for stable mother and baby, including basic breastfeeding support during the transition period
• Operate unit technology including EPIC Stork, GE Centricity, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Float between Labor and Delivery and Mother/Baby units as needed, within areas of demonstrated competency

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Washington
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Fetal monitoring certification required (AWHONN or Relia's module)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Pyxis medication dispensing experience required

• Experience with HUGS Security system
• Familiarity with AWHONN and NANN patient ratio guidelines
• Experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting (facility delivers approximately 175–200 patients per month)
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Work within a well-supported unit featuring 24/7 hospitalist, laborist (OB/GYN), and respiratory therapy coverage, along with available phlebotomy services
• Scrubs are provided and free parking is available on-site
