Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Sales Associate, you'll be a key part of our success by providing excellent customer service, sharing your fandom knowledge, stocking and replenishing products, and merchandising the store visually, all while focusing on the in-store experience.

What

You'll Do
  • Provide an exceptional shopping experience to encourage customer loyalty, showcasing your product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Maintain visual standards by covering the sales floor zone and ensuring assigned areas are appealing.
  • Operate the register, process sales transactions, and promote add-on sales using benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
  • Assist with planogram updates, including store layout, wall displays, fixtures, and merchandising mix.
  • Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners.
  • Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of spells and wizardry.
  • Help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve store goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.
    • What You'll Need
  • Previous retail experience is preferred; a love for music and pop culture is a plus!
  • Strong customer service and sales skills.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to join the team.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • The ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.

    • Pay range: $16.70 - $17.20 an hour. Final salary depends on education, location, experience, and other factors.
