Retail Sales Associate - Part Time - 2988 s is an entry-level, part-time position in our pawn store locations nationwide. The role involves customer service, processing sales and loans, and assisting with daily store operations. Pay listed as $16.66 to $17.75 per hour with commission opportunities.

We are seeking entry-level, part-time sales associates to join our team. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate works with store staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. The role involves greeting customers, processing transactions, and providing a positive and professional experience. Associates will work with a variety of merchandise, including tools, electronics, jewelry, and possibly firearms in FFL locations.

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and display merchandise effectively.
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per established guidelines.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers to support a positive customer experience.
• Collaborate with all employees to deliver a memorable customer experience.
• Complete assigned training and perform other duties as needed.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable).
• Must be age 18 or older; high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to serve customers, be team-oriented, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash; prior cash handling experience is preferred.
• Flexibility to work at multiple locations as needed, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and standard office equipment.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal gross profit. Details are provided during the interview process.
