Salary information:
The Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial is $19.25 USD per hour. The Pay Range / Rango salarial is $19.25 USD - $28.90 USD per hour.

Target is seeking a General Merchandise (GM) and Food Expert to support GM and Food activities in the store, including inbound, fulfillment, replenishment, pricing, and merchandising, while ensuring a guest-first experience.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Assist guests to solve their specific needs in a welcoming manner.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Execute daily tasks to support business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified.
• Execute price changes, merchandise setup/maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed by leadership.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (picking/packing orders, or delivering pickup orders) while complying with applicable laws.
• All other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Scan, move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds without additional assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) and reliable attendance.
• Possible exposure to varying temperatures and elements depending on duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
