Member Associate II – Kitsap Credit Union

Kitsap Credit Union is a not‑for‑profit, member‑owned financial cooperative with more than 300 employees and 14 branches throughout Western Washington. Our KCU Cares Foundation supports those struggling with homelessness or hunger and we provide extensive staff volunteerism and in‑kind support.

The Member Associate II is responsible for creating an exceptional member experience while processing transactions and promoting all‑digital, remote, and self‑service options. This role is based at our Puyallup South Hill Branch.

• Assist members with their financial needs and transactions.
• Educate members about new products and services and promote self‑service options.
• Foster and maintain constructive member relationships.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product offerings.
• Recommend products and services that meet member needs.
• Participate in sales and community events to contribute to branch goals.
• Use effective sales techniques to enhance member experience and meet sales targets.
• Adhere to operational, regulatory, security, and compliance standards.
• Accept and process financial transactions accurately.
• Follow proper balancing procedures and maintain responsibility for transactions.
• Promote digital, remote, and self‑serve options throughout the branch.
• Generate new memberships through branch sales activities.

Hourly pay: $21 – $24, depending on experience.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months cash handling, customer service, and/or retail sales experience.
• Minimum of 6 months financial institution experience.
