Position: Sonic Driller:

Find a Home with Holocene Drilling.

This is a role based in Western WA, with relocation packages available for the right candidates.

Under the indirect supervision of the designated supervisor, the Sonic Driller performs routine to complex sonic drilling, sampling, and well installation tasks, and maintains field equipment. This individual will supervise driller’s assistants and coordinate with staff professionals or client field representatives, including verification of work performed and working hours.

This position involves working on jobs in Western Washington, along the I-5 corridor from Olympia to Marysville, starting and ending each day in our Puyallup, WA location.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform sonic and rotary drilling, sampling, and well installation operations, recording pertinent information related to field activities.

Supervise the work of subordinates involved in field activities.

Possess a Class "A" CDL.

Collect drilling data.

Follow and enforce written corporate safety policies.

Maintain company vehicles and equipment, with support from in-house mechanics for major repairs.

Prepare daily field reports and communicate equipment and personnel needs to the supervisor.

Interact with client’s field representatives to report work completed and resolve field issues.

Assist with site mobilization, materials handling, and decontamination of equipment.

Perform routine to complex drilling and sampling activities, with assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

At least five years of experience in the drilling field.

Minimum three years of lead Sonic Driller experience.

Class "A" CDL required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay:
From $30-$40 per hour, with 1.5x pay after 8 hours worked per day.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of sonic drilling experience required

License/Certification:
