Connect Staffing Inc. is looking to hire an experienced Loader and Unloader for a furniture company located in Puyallup, Washington.

Minimum experience – 3 years previous experience as a loader/unloader in a warehouse setting.

Shift: 1st shift – Monday to Saturday, 4:30 am start time (overtime will vary).

Base pay: $23.50 per hour – $23.50 per hour.

• Minimum of three years previous experience as a loader/unloader manually
• Ability to exert in excess of 100 lbs. of force occasionally, 50 lbs. of force frequently, and 20 lbs. of force constantly
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Capability to lift 35–50 lbs. from floor to waist, 50–80 lbs. from waist to shoulders, and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Frequent handling of loads over 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to rotate to other work areas, departments, or zones as required
• Must pass a drug test and background check
• English speaking required
• Experience with palletizing, general labor, loading, unloading, and warehouse operations is a plus

• Follow verbal or written instructions, such as bills of materials, shipping documents, or production schedules
• Safely move and stack materials throughout the warehouse, staging area, trailers, etc.
• Manually load and unload outgoing and incoming delivery vehicles by hand
• Often work extended periods moving/loading materials or finished goods by hand
• Use of bar code readers, computer terminals, or other electronic devices to track product (may be required)
