To carry out all required maintenance and decoration duties, in line with an approved task list, working unsupervised.

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure a clean, safe and legal workplace.
• Adhere to Wetherspoon’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
• Work with third‑party contractors.
• Ensure that all work completed by you, or by an approved contractor, meets the company’s design standard operating procedures (DSOPs).
• Carry out any reasonable task requested to meet the needs of the business.

• Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks.
• Capability to work unsupervised and resolve problems using your own knowledge within relevant guidelines.
• Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm in your role and show commitment to your colleagues and pub.
• Friendly nature and good communication skills.
• Honest, trustworthy and respectful.
• Remain calm when working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Adhere to appearance standards, including wearing correct PPE when required.
• Receive regular feedback from the management team and achieve any actions agreed on.
