Salary: 12.65 per hour

Term Time – Temporary until 02 July 2026. 1 hour a day as and when required. Relief Supervisory Assistant – Mynydd Cynffig Primary School. This role involves working during the lunchtime period, term time only.

Relief staff may be called upon to work at short notice to cover absence of other school staff subject to their own availability, during the lunchtime period, between 12pm – 1pm as and when required.

• Work as part of a team to undertake the supervision of children in all areas of the school.
• Supervise and actively engage pupils in playground games.

• Experience of working with children, and the ability to encourage good behaviour and play amongst pupils would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
• Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
• An Enhanced with Children's Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
