The Senior Consultant leads the Neurology service for epilepsy and headache disorders, managing complex diagnostic and therapeutic cases and contributing to national neurological care strategies. Responsibilities include:
🎓 Qualifications – Must Hold One of the Following Specialization Credentials:
- Arab Board from GCC Countries
- USA – ABMS
- Canada – RCPS-C
- UK – GMC Specialist Registration with CCT or CCST
- Australia / New Zealand – Fellowship of the Royal Colleges
- Sweden – Swedish Board
- Germany – Facharzt
- Other European Specialist Certifications may also be accepted
- Minimum 1 year as Senior Consultant, or
- 6+ years as a Consultant in a recognized setting
📜 Licensing:
- Must hold a valid home-country license to practice
- Must be eligible for registration and licensing in the State of Qatar as a Senior Consultant
The Senior Consultant leads the Neurology service for epilepsy and headache disorders, managing complex diagnostic and therapeutic cases and contributing to national neurological care strategies. Responsibilities include:
- Direct patient care and clinical supervision
- Interpretation of EEG, MRI, and epilepsy diagnostics
- Guiding treatment protocols for headache and seizure management
- Mentoring consultants and junior staff
- Departmental planning and quality initiatives
- Participating in national research, teaching, and service improvement
- Supporting accreditation and compliance processes
Additional Information / Benefits
💰 Monthly Salary: From 56,323 QAR (Non-Negotiable)
