Librarian

Librarian in Lusail, Qatar

We are seeking a qualified Librarian to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library collection, providing reference and research assistance to patrons, and maintaining the library's systems and resources.

• Manage the library's collection by selecting, cataloging, and classifying materials
• Provide reference services and research assistance to students and faculty
• Maintain the library's systems and resources, including managing circulation, interlibrary loans, and online databases
• Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and encourage reading among students
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate information literacy skills into curriculum
• Train students on how to effectively use the library's resources

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a librarian or in a related field
• Fluent in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Competitive salary of 1200$ per month
• Full-time job with regular working hours (Saturday - Thursday)
