We are seeking a skilled Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Petroleum Engineer you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient and cost-effective methods for extracting oil and gas from underground reservoirs. Your role will involve analyzing data, conducting research, and collaborating with other engineers and geologists to develop drilling plans.
To be successful, you should have a strong background in engineering principles with a focus on petroleum engineering, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Experience in the oil and gas industry is required, with knowledge of drilling techniques, reservoir management, and production optimization. Fluency in English is necessary.
Responsibilities- Conduct research and analyze data to determine optimal methods for extracting oil and gas from reservoirs.
- Design drilling plans using advanced software programs.
- Monitor well performance and make recommendations for production optimization.
- Collaborate with other engineers and geologists to ensure safe and efficient operation of oilfields.
- Conduct cost analysis for drilling projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Stay updated on industry developments, new technologies, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the oil and gas industry as a Petroleum Engineer.
- Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with drilling techniques, reservoir management, and production optimization.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
