Chemical Engineer - Process Development Specialist

As a Process Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new chemical processes to improve efficiency and productivity in our operations. Your expertise in chemistry and engineering principles will be crucial in designing, testing, and optimizing processes that meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and experiments to develop new chemical processes or improve existing ones
- Design equipment and systems for chemical production, including reactors, pumps, and control systems
- Analyze data from experiments and production processes to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale up processes from laboratory prototypes to full-scale production
- Develop process control strategies to ensure consistent quality of products
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the development or implementation of new processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in chemical engineering to continuously improve our processes
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Chemical Engineer
- Strong knowledge of chemistry principles and process design
- Familiarity with process simulation software such as Aspen Plus or ChemCAD
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Effective communication skills
