Industrial Engineer - Lusail, Qatar
We are hiring a skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing complex systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and productivity. You will work closely with production teams to optimize workflows, reduce waste and costs, and improve overall performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles and experience in the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough analysis of production processes to identify areas for improvement
- Develop strategies to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality control
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and new systems
- Utilize industrial engineering tools and techniques such as time-motion studies, value stream mapping, and statistical analysis
- Monitor production metrics to track progress and measure success of implemented solutions
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to health, safety, and environmental practices
- Train production staff on new processes or equipment as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial engineering within the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, process improvement methodologies, and statistical analysis tools
- Experience with CAD software is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and analytically
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this full-time position. This job is open to Indian nationals who are proficient in English. Accommodation will not be provided but visa sponsorship will be offered for qualified candidates.
