Overview

This role is a pivotal member of our fast‑growing Finance & Partner Settlement team. In this role, you’ll ensure timely, accurate settlement and robust reconciliation for our Partners. You’ll lean on your data analytics expertise to streamline settlement processes and drive continuous improvement. If you’re passionate about fusing tech and finance, then this role is for you.

What You’ll Get Your Hands OnOversee Partner Settlement

Coordinate the on‑time cycles to ensure error‑free settlement.

Develop Settlement Schedules and Manage Related Communications

Design and implement schedules, and communicate updates to partners.

Manage Reconciliations

Lead the daily and monthly reconciliation of partner accounts, comparing transactions between internal systems and bank statements. Investigate and resolve discrepancies, escalating issues to relevant stakeholders and ensuring smooth financial closure.

Leverage SQL & Data Analytics

Write and optimize SQL queries to pull, validate, and analyze large volumes of transaction data. Design and maintain data dashboards (using Excel, BI tools, etc.) that provide real‑time insights into settlement statuses, reconciliation progress, and KPIs.

Maintain Database Integrity

Implement best practices in database management to guarantee accuracy and reliability of financial records. Collaborate with IT teams to enhance data structures, ensuring high availability and scalability of settlement‑related data.

Automate & Innovate

Identify processes ripe for automation (e.g., RPA, AI‑driven alerts) to reduce manual interventions and minimize errors. Propose system upgrades or integration solutions that modernize financial workflows and streamline data flow between platforms.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Serve as the primary liaison between partners, internal departments (e.g., Operations, Sales, Tech), and external vendors. Provide clear, actionable reports to stakeholders, facilitating prompt resolution of payment queries or disputes.

Drive Process Improvements

Analyze settlement trends, create improvement roadmaps, and prioritize enhancements based on impact and feasibility. Recommend new tools, methods, and metrics to elevate the partner settlement experience and strengthen financial controls.

Ensure Compliance & Accuracy

Uphold financial compliance with local regulations and Snoonu’s internal policies. Participate in internal audits and assist external auditors with data requests, emphasizing transparency and integrity.

The Magic You Bring

• Educational Background:
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience:
  
  1+ years in settlements, financial operations, or reconciliation roles. Experience in e‑commerce or fintech is a plus.
• SQL & Database Expertise:
  Skilled in SQL (query writing, optimization) and comfortable with database management tools. Data visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a strong advantage.
• Analytical Mindset:
  Adept at digging into complex datasets, identifying patterns, and making data‑driven recommendations.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for spotting inconsistencies, ensuring a balanced approach to speed and accuracy.
• Team Player:
