Head of User Acquisition - Kuwait & Bahrain
The Head of User Acquisition for the Kuwait and Bahrain cluster leads a high performance paid acquisition operation across both markets. This founding leadership role establishes the local UA framework, hires and develops the team, and drives user growth aligned to regional targets.
Responsibilities Strategy & Leadership- Define and own the UA strategy for Kuwait and Bahrain across paid search, paid social, programmatic, and app install channels.
- Manage a team of UA specialists with coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
- Collaborate with the Director of Performance Marketing to align cluster strategy with regional objectives and budget allocation.
- Serve as the primary accountability for cluster level KPIs: CPI, CPA, ROAS, and new user volume.
- Oversee day to day campaign management across all paid channels, ensuring optimization and budget efficiency.
- Partner with the Marketing Efficiency team to adopt standardized measurement frameworks, attribution models, and Mar Tech tooling.
- Leverage UA Analyst insights to drive data informed decisions and continuous improvement.
- Identify and test new acquisition channels, audience segments, and creative formats relevant to the markets.
- Work closely with the Acting Head of UA (Qatar + Oman cluster) to share best practices and align on channel strategy.
- Coordinate with Creatives and Communications teams to brief and iterate on performance oriented ad creative.
- Contribute to quarterly business reviews with actionable cluster level performance analysis.
- 5+ years in performance marketing or user acquisition, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record managing and scaling paid acquisition budgets in the GCC or MENA region.
- Deep expertise in at least three of:
Google Ads, Meta Ads, Tik Tok Ads, Apple Search Ads, programmatic DSPs. - Experience in a multi market or cluster based structure preferred.
- Strong analytical skills translating data into strategic recommendations.
- Experience hiring, leading, and retaining performance marketing talent.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management in a matrixed organization.
- Proficiency with analytics and BI tools such as Tableau or Looker.
- Fluency in English required;
Arabic an advantage.
