Social Media Manager

We're looking for a Social Media Manager who doesn't just oversee accounts, but strategically architect social media as a core business and revenue driver. This role transforms Snoonu's social platforms into high performing growth channels by masterfully combining content strategy, regional culture, data analytics, and high level execution. As a Manager, you will own the full social ecosystem, building scalable workflows across planning, publishing, performance, community, and heavyweight collaborations with influencers and 360 campaigns.

You'll serve as the strategic bridge between executive leadership, creative production and performance teams to ensure everything we put out is elite, on brand and directly impacts our bottom line.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership & Planning
    • Own, design and scale Snoonu's overarching social media strategy across all current and emerging platforms.
    • Translate high level business goals and commercial objectives into highly effective social plans, macro campaigns and robust content calendars.
    • Anticipate regional trends, macro formats and cultural moments relevant to Qatar & MENA.
    • Safeguard brand equity by ensuring absolute consistency between executive brand voice, cross functional campaigns and daily organic output.
  • Advanced Content Governance & Execution
    • Oversee end to end publishing pipeline establishing elite standards for captions, visual timing and platform native formats.
    • Partner with Creative Directors and Production Heads to champion high quality, pioneering digital content.
    • Establish frameworks for real time content opportunities, empowering the team to capitalize on reactive and moment marketing instantly and safely.
  • Performance, Data Analytics & ROI Optimization
    • Implement rigorous analytics framework to track performance across all platforms, shifting focus from vanity metrics to hard conversions (app downloads, order frequency, retention).
    • Translate complex social data into executive ready insights and actionable business improvements for stakeholder reporting.
    • Continuously audit and optimize content testing frameworks, budgeting, paid social amplification and audience segmentation.
  • Reputation, Community & Crisis Management
    • Govern community management protocols using enterprise tools like Hootsuite & Sprout Social to maintain industry leading response times.
    • Architect response frameworks for sensitive customer service escalations, mitigating PR risks and fiercely protecting brand reputation.
    • Identify and scale opportunities to turn passive followers into brand advocates, building deep community loyalty.
  • Influencer Ecosystem & 360 Campaign Alignment
    • Partner with Influencer Marketing team to lead macro influencer strategies, alignment contracts, coverage plans and native content integration.
    • Ensure all creator and influencer partnerships map seamlessly back to Snoonu's overarching brand narrative.
    • Support major company rollouts and product launches with aggressive, well amplified social playbooks.
  • Team Leadership, Mentorship & Operations
    • Lead, mentor and grow a high performing team of Social Media Executives, Coordinators and Content Creators.
    • Establish clear operational workflows, KPIs, performance reviews and strict accountability structures within the department.
    • Manage vendor relationships, external agencies and the internal social media budget to deliver maximum ROI.
Qualifications
  • 6 8+ years proven experience in social media management and digital marketing, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Track record of successfully scaling and managing high volume, fast paced corporate social media accounts (experience in tech, hyper growth startups, consumer platforms or on demand delivery apps is a massive plus).
  • Strong analytical background; proven ability to balance creative, out of the box thinking with a conversion driven, performance oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional understanding of platform algorithms, digital trends, paid social strategies and audience analytics.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Superior copywriting and editorial skills across both languages, with an intimate understanding of Qatari dialect, local humor and cultural nuances.
  • Strategic yet agile: while this is a managerial role, you retain a sharp eye for mobile first content creation and possess the willingness to guide the team on the ground when quick, spontaneous content needs to be produced.
