Head of User Acquisition - Kuwait and Bahrain Cluster
Responsible for building, leading, and scaling a high-performance paid acquisition operation across both markets. This is a founding leadership role: establish the local UA framework, hire and develop the team, and drive sustainable user growth in alignment with regional performance targets.
Responsibilities- Define and own the UA strategy for Kuwait and Bahrain across paid search, paid social, programmatic, and app install channels.
- Manage a team of UA specialists, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
- Collaborate with the Director of Performance Marketing to align cluster strategy with regional objectives and budget allocation.
- Serve as primary point of accountability for cluster-level KPIs: CPI, CPA, ROAS, and new user volume.
- Oversee day to day campaign management across all paid channels to ensure consistent optimization and budget efficiency.
- Partner with the Marketing Efficiency team to adopt standardized measurement frameworks, attribution models, and Mar Tech tooling.
- Leverage insights from UA Analyst to drive data informed decisions and continuous performance improvement.
- Identify and test new acquisition channels, audience segments, and creative formats relevant to the Kuwait and Bahrain markets.
- Work closely with the Acting Head of UA (Qatar + Oman cluster) to share best practices and align on channel strategy.
- Coordinate with Creatives and Communications teams to brief and iterate on performance oriented ad creative.
- Contribute to quarterly business reviews with actionable cluster level performance analysis.
- At least 5 years of experience in performance marketing or user acquisition, including 2+ years in a team leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing and scaling paid acquisition budgets in the GCC or MENA region.
- Hands on expertise in at least three of the following:
Google Ads, Meta Ads, Tik Tok Ads, Apple Search Ads, programmatic DSPs. - Experience operating in a multi market or cluster based organizational structure preferred.
- Strong analytical skills to translate data into clear strategic recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, lead, and retain performance marketing talent.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a matrixed organization.
- Proficiency with analytics and BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or equivalent.
- Fluency in English required;
Arabic is an advantage.
