Industrial Engineer - Lusail, Qatar
As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and improving our company's production processes. Your main responsibility will be to analyze our current manufacturing systems and identify areas for improvement. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing new processes, equipment, and layouts to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct time studies and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality
- Design and implement new production layouts to optimize workflow
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and supply chain to ensure smooth implementation of process improvements
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles to continuously improve processes
- Identify cost-saving opportunities by evaluating material usage, labor efficiency, and equipment utilization
- Monitor production output and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process
- Train production staff on new processes and provide ongoing support as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in CAD software is preferred
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month as well as visa sponsorship for qualified candidates. This is an urgent position so we are looking for someone who can start immediately.
