Vertical Marketing Manager – Groceries

The Vertical Marketing Manager – Groceries is the growth engine behind the company's grocery business. This role owns the full marketing strategy for two key pillars: the Groceries vertical and the Q‑commerce grocery service. The manager shapes go‑to‑market plans, drives customer acquisition and retention, and works cross‑functionally to scale both verticals to market leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Own the end‑to‑end marketing strategy for the Groceries vertical and Q‑commerce service.
  • Align marketing plans with company OKRs, commercial targets, and brand goals.
  • Translate business priorities into high‑impact campaigns that drive awareness, first orders, and repeat purchase.
  • Monitor vertical P&L health and marketing efficiency, optimizing spend across channels.
  • Design and execute GTM plans for new partnerships and category/product launches.
  • Lead always‑on and seasonal campaigns across digital, in‑app, CRM, and offline touchpoints.
  • Develop promotional frameworks that balance growth and margin.
  • Build and maintain a content and communication calendar spanning both verticals.
  • Define brand positioning, messaging, and value proposition for the Q‑commerce service.
  • Drive customer acquisition funnel including paid media, referral, and retention programs.
  • Collaborate with Product and Operations to improve in‑app experience, merchandising, and delivery communication.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to expand assortment, coverage, and delivery speed.
  • Own vertical KPIs: GMV contribution, new user acquisition, order frequency, basket size, retention rate.
  • Leverage customer insights, basket analysis, and market intelligence to inform planning and creative direction.
  • Deliver performance reports to senior leadership with recommendations and a test‑and‑learn roadmap.
  • Manage the marketing team’s day‑to‑day delivery, ensuring excellence and on‑time execution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 4–6 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years focused on grocery retail, FMCG, or Q‑commerce/on‑demand delivery.
  • Strong expertise in GTM strategy, growth marketing, and performance marketing channels (paid social, search, CRM/email, push notifications).
  • Excellent analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills, connecting insights to strategy.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across Commercial, Product, and Operations.
