This role is ideal for a communications professional who enjoys content creation, media engagement, stakeholder management, and brand positioning.
About the RoleThe Media Relations Specialist will support the development and delivery of impactful internal and external communication initiatives, focusing on content creation, media engagement, stakeholder management, and brand positioning.
Responsibilities- Develop and coordinate corporate communications content, including press releases, newsletters, speeches, presentations, and briefing materials.
- Support media relations activities, public relations campaigns, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Assist in executing communication strategies that enhance organizational reputation and brand visibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and external partners to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Monitor media coverage, communication trends, and stakeholder sentiment, providing insights and recommendations.
- Support corporate events, media briefings, and communication programs locally and internationally.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Media Relations, or related disciplines.
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
- Experience managing multiple communication projects and stakeholder relationships.
- Knowledge of media relations, reputation management, and digital communication channels.
- Familiarity with Qatar's business and media environment is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities
- Attention to detail and sound judgement
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
