Malayalee Chef

We are seeking a skilled Malayalee Chef to join our team in Lusail. As a Chef you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of traditional Malayalee dishes as well as creating new and innovative recipes. You must have a strong understanding of Malayalee cuisine and be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Chef preferably within a Malayalee restaurant or catering service.

• Prepare and cook traditional Malayalee dishes ensuring they are of the highest quality
• Create new and innovative recipes while staying true to the essence of Malayalee cuisine
• Work quickly and efficiently to meet customer demands in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Manage inventory, order supplies and maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality of food
• Collaborate with management team to develop menu options that appeal to different tastes and dietary restrictions

• Must be fluent in Malayalam language
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef preferably within a Malayalee restaurant or catering service
• Strong knowledge of Malayalee cuisine including cooking techniques, herbs, spices and ingredients
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
  
  Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
• Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

The salary for this position is 1700$ per month
