We are looking for a talented Executive Chef with experience in African cuisine to join our team in Lusail on a contract basis. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring high-quality dishes are served. You will also be responsible for creating new menu items and training kitchen staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled chef to showcase their talent and expertise in African cuisine.

• Manage all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
• Create new and innovative dishes that showcase African cuisine
• Train and develop kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
• Oversee inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to plan menus for special events or promotions
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef specializing in African cuisine
• In-depth knowledge of African culinary traditions, ingredients, and techniques
• Ability to create new dishes while maintaining authentic flavors of African cuisine
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must have experience working in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Must have own visa or be able to obtain one

• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef specializing in African cuisine
• Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is an asset)

We offer a competitive salary package starting at $1000 per month based on experience.
