Executive Chef at Luxury Resort in Lusail

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury resort in Lusail, Qatar. This is a seasonal position with the potential for long-term employment for the right candidate.

As an Executive Chef you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the resort's culinary operations including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen staff management.

• Create and update menus in collaboration with management and taking into account guest preferences and dietary restrictions
• Oversee food preparation and ensure high quality and presentation standards are met
• Manage kitchen staff including hiring, training, and scheduling
• Maintain inventory of food supplies and equipment and order as needed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of food service throughout the resort
• Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to stay within budget

• At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or luxury resort
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
• Experience managing a team of kitchen staff
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, schedules, and budgets

Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience working in Qatar or the Middle East. Visa sponsorship will be provided for non-Qatari nationals.
